What’s New in Halal-Certified Restaurants in Hong Kong

As part of our ongoing initiative to promote Muslim travel, we are committed to providing support to all our merchants and trade partners to better understand the specific needs of Muslim travelers. We are collaborating with the Incorporated Trustees of the Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong (BOT) to assist our partners in elevating their services to meet Muslim standards, thereby making Hong Kong a Muslim-friendly destination.

 

Two new Halal restaurants in Hotels
Big Bay Café in Kerry Hotel and Café Too in Island Shangri La have recently received Halal certification from BOT, this certification fully reflects the hotel's commitment to providing exceptional hospitality services to Muslim guests, with strict adherence to Islamic dietary laws from ingredient selection to cooking processes, ensuring that diners can confidently enjoy the restaurant's Halal menus.

 

Chrisly Café (Bakery)
Chrisly Café's Bakery Section in Tsim Sha Tsui has recently received Halal certification. The bakery now offers Halal versions of traditional favorites, including the Pineapple Bun and Egg Tart, catering to the dietary needs of Muslim customers.

 

The Mira
The Mira Hong Kong, a 5 Crescent Rating hotel located in Tsim Sha Tsui, is hosting a series of events in celebration of a major Muslim holiday. The events include a five-day all-you-can-eat dinner buffet at Yamm, which features a Halal Middle Eastern section with Whole Roasted Lamb and Dubai-style desserts. Additionally, Cuisine Cuisine will offer signature Halal Cantonese dishes. On June 6 and 7, the hotel’s open-air shisha lounge, Vibes, will host Sizzling Arabic Nights, featuring live music, a DJ, traditional dance performances, , signature food and drinks.
