China International Import Expo, Shanghai (5-10 November 2018)

Details:	HKTB partnered with Hong Kong Trade Development Council to take part in the inaugural China International Import Expo (CIIE) at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, which took place 5-10 November 2018. In the Enterprise & Business Exhibition Zone, the Hong Kong pavilion successfully brought into focus this year’s theme, “Best of All, It’s in Hong Kong”. HKTB highlighted its exciting campaign “Hong Kong Neighbourhoods”, MICE and cruise tourism, and the city’s unique culture. The showcase was graced with the presence of Mrs Carrie Lam, the Chief Executive of HKSAR and Mr Edward Yau, the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of HKSAR during the VIP tour. Also in attendance were Dr Peter Lam, Chairman of HKTB, and Mr Anthony Lau, Executive Director of HKTB, who joined a dinner hosted by the Chief Executive at the PRIMUS Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao. The CIIE concluded on 10 November with the Hong Kong Pavilion receiving overwhelming response from visitors from all over the world. During the six-day event, over 3,600 exhibitors from 172 countries and regions, 400,000 professional buyers and 800,000 visitors attended.
