About PMQ In October 2009, the Former Hollywood Road Police Married Quarters was included as one of the eight projects to be preserved under the “Conserving Central” of the Policy Address. In November 2010, the Development Bureau announced that the project was awarded to the Musketeers Education and Culture Charitable Foundation Limited, with the support of Hong Kong Design Centre, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Vocational Training Council's Hong Kong Design Institute, to transform the site into a creative industries landmark named "PMQ", thereby creating a new platform and instilling power in Hong Kong’s creative industries. By providing support for local young designers to set up their own creative studios for career establishment, PMQ strives to promote the development of creative industries in Hong Kong. A Place for Creative Lifestyle Experience PMQ has been transformed into a creative industries landmark of Hong Kong, offering you the opportunities to meet with an array of young designers and appreciate their products and services. We strive to nurture the development of local creative industries, through elevating the appreciation of the value created by design and innovation.
