HKTB Announces Provisional Visitor Arrivals for April 2025

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) announced that the provisional visitor arrivals for April 2025 were 3.8 million, a year-on-year increase of 13%. Arrivals from Mainland, short-haul and long-haul markets all showed a double-digit year-on-year growth.

 

Cumulatively, Hong Kong received 16 million visitors from January to April, a 10% growth from the same period last year. Growth momentum is sustained across various markets, with number of visitors from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and Indonesia increasing more than 20% year-on-year respectively. For Australia, a significant growth of 30% was recorded.
