Description: |
The Hong Kong Repertory Theatre presents After Life, an adaption of Palme d’Or winner Hirokazu Kore-eda’s classic film. The story follows the journey of the deceased, who must stop briefly at a transit station en route to Heaven and select a precious memory for the guides to help revive. Looking back, some are filled with regret, others rack their brains, while several recall their loved ones. Perhaps this process is like collecting fragments of the past and retracing the path of one’s life? |
