HKTB Announces Provisional Visitor Arrivals for October

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) announced that Hong Kong recorded provisional visitor arrivals of about 4.6 million for October, increasing by 12% from the same month last year. Cumulatively, Hong Kong received about 41 million visitors from January to October this year, marking a 12% year-on-year increase. These included about 31.44 million visitors from the Chinese Mainland, 11% more than the same period last year. Non-Chinese Mainland visitors accounted for 9.62 million, increasing by 16% year on year. Among the markets, growth of visitors from Taiwan, Australia and the Middle East markets were more prominent.
