Description:	In celebration of this year’s festival theme, ‘More Than Joy’, renowned musician Ng Cheuk Yin reimagines beloved songs from classic comedy films with fresh arrangements. Pop singer Alfred Hui, the a cappella choral theatre company Yat Po Singers, and beatboxer Heartgrey (Eric So) will perform alongside a live band to mark the grand opening of the 3rd Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival. Following the musical performance, enjoy a screening of the comedy masterpiece The Banquet (1991), a remake of the 1959 classic Feast of a Rich Family, featuring legendary stars including Eric Tsang, Dodo Cheng, George Lam and Richard Ng. The film also includes cameos from Hong Kong’s biggest stars of the era and is not be missed. *This is the opening programme of the Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival 2025
