HKTB continues to engage overseas trade partners through webinars, updating on the latest tourism developments.

We have organized our first trade online tour on Peng Chau in June, under the theme of Welless in Hong Kong and we have brought trade partners across Southeast Asia to uncover the vibrant arts scene on the old industrial island.

Largest double-decker tram fleet in service (Hong Kong, 2021)
HK Tramways has announced its Guinness World Records™ (GWR) achievement of the "largest double-decker tram fleet in service and also marked its 117th anniversary. Apart from holding "the largest fleet of double-decker trams in service" title, HK Tramways has also collaborated with Pantone Color Institute to create a new signature green shade that pays tribute to the HK Tram, "HK Tram Green".

Harbour City joins hands with Disney and Pixar to host Hong Kong's first Pixar Fest
In celebration of Pixar's 35th anniversary, Harbour City have joint hands with Disney and Pixar once again to bring to the city the first-ever Pixar Fest from now through 15 August! Harbour City have launched a series of interactive activities, including augmented reality (AR) check-ins and an online game, connecting the real and virtual world across offline and online platforms, offering guests multidimensional experiences.

The New Tuen Ma MTR Line Linking East and West
The full Tuen Ma Line (TML) has commenced operation on 27 June 2021. With a route length of 56km and serving 27 stations and end-to-end journey time of about 73 minutes, the TML will be the longest railway line in Hong Kong linking the east and west of the New Territories and East Kowloon.

Hong Kong's Largest Fair a Prelude to Strong Exhibition Resumption in Q3
On the heels of Hong Kong topping the charts in The Economist's 'Global Normalcy Index', the vibrancy in the city's exhibition scene is demonstrating how Hong Kong continues cultivating business under the new normal —the Hong Kong Book Fair, the city's largest annual fair, returned with fanfare last July with more than 830,000 visits recorded, about 85 per cent of the pre-pandemic levels, all under a new standard of stringent hygiene and seamless operations.

Hong Kong's Physical Fairs Attract Over a Million Visits in the Second Quarter of 2021
From April to June, Hong Kong's exhibition scene has picked up more momentum with the return of a series of close to 20 physical exhibitions at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Featuring a wide variety of products and services ranging from technology, and lifestyle, to arts and jewellery, the successful fairs attracted over a million visits under the pandemic, which is a promising sign for the exhibition industry.

Convention and Exhibition Industry Subsidy Scheme (CEISS): Extension to 30 Jun 2022
To support the gradual resumption of business events and strengthen the city's reputation as a premier international convention and exhibition hub, the Hong Kong SAR Government has launched a 100% venue rental subsidy as part of the HK$1.02 billion Convention & Exhibition Industry Subsidy Scheme under the Anti-epidemic Fund.
