| Hong Kong Reopens to Non-Residents with Reduced Restrictions |
| Starting 1 May, non-residents from overseas will be able to fly into Hong Kong. They will be subject to the same COVID-19 testing and quarantine arrangements as those for inbound HK residents. The route-specific flight suspension mechanism will also be adjusted in order to reduce interruptions to travel plans and airline operations. |

| Art Basel Hong Kong | 25–29 May |
| The 2022 edition of Art Basel in Hong Kong, and second edition of its hybrid fair, welcomes 130 leading galleries from 28 countries and territories. Alongside robust presentations across Galleries, Insights, and Discoveries, this year's show will offer dynamic public programs that highlight local artists and create meaningful connections in the city and across the globe. |
| The event will feature Hong Kong based moving image pioneer Ellen Pau's new, site-specific moving image work 'The Shape of Light' which is co-commissioned by Art Basel and M+ and supported by the Lead Partner UBS. Other works include a special tram project by artists Cherie Cheuk Ka-wai, Stephen Wong Chun-hei and Shum Kwan-yi, commissioned by Art Basel and co-presented by the Hong Kong Tourism Board. Keep a look out for Art Basel Live, a multichannel digital program which will once again amplify the show's content to global audiences. |

| Art Central is widely recognized as an important incubator for artists and galleries in the rapidly growing market for contemporary art in Asia, presenting younger artists alongside established names, and showcasing progressive works that challenge the boundaries of contemporary art. |

| French GourMay (FGM) Food & Wine Festival is the one and only major festival in Hong Kong and Macau dedicated to French gastronomy. Highlighting Rhômantic Bistronomy district and unboxing the art on the plate with around 100 F&B partners. |

| 6th generation Peak Tram on track to launch by summer 2022 |
| Hong Kong's dazzling new Peak Tram models have been improved with a few exciting upgrades including increased capacity by 75% and will carry 210 passengers compared to 120 previously. Wider doors and step-free access have also been integrated into its features for improved mobility and larger panoramic windows for enhanced views of Hong Kong's stunning skyline. The date of the launch and more details will be announced at a later date. |
