Hong Kong Winterfest |

Connect Hong Kong – Southeast Asia 2024
The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has successfully concluded its Connect Hong Kong – Southeast Asia Familiarization Trip, which took place from 21 to 25 October 2024. A total of 50 travel agents from six key Southeast Asian markets were invited to Hong Kong, with the goal to strengthen business relationships and showcase Hong Kong’s expanding tourism offerings. The trip provided agents with firsthand experiences of the city’s latest tourism developments, attractions, and infrastructure. The agents also had opportunities to engage with Hong Kong’s diverse trade partners, including hotels, ground operators and attractions, through a full day of business matching sessions.
Greater Bay Area Tourism Promotion in Jakarta
HKTB in collaboration with Guangdong Tourism Bureau and Macao Government Tourism Office, launched a Greater Bay Area (GBA) tourism initiative in Jakarta. This campaign features new Bahasa Indonesia resources, travel packages, and promotional events with Indonesian Gen-Z influencers to attract Indonesian travelers. Additionally, HKTB has reached a strategic agreement with trade partners including ASTINDO and Traveloka to offer exclusive tourism products and promotions aimed at encouraging visits to Hong Kong and the broader GBA through multi-destination journeys.

Bar Leone and COA Celebrated at the World’s 50 Best Bars 2024
The 2024 World's 50 Best Bars were announced in Madrid, celebrating top bars globally. Two Hong Kong bars, Bar Leone and COA, earned high spots, ranking No. 2 and No. 18, solidifying Hong Kong's prominence in the cocktail scene. Bar Leone also won The Best Bar in Asia 2024 and the Disaronno Highest New Entry Award. Hong Kong’s Argo and The Savory Project also made it onto the 51–100 list at No. 58 and No. 82, respectively, further showcasing the city’s vibrant bar culture.

First 'Pixar Sweet Dreams' Christmas Installation |

This Christmas, six major shopping malls across Hong Kong—Sheung Shui Plaza, Harbour North, Tseung Kwan O Centre, PopWalk, Dall Plaza, and life@KCC—will host Hong Kong’s first “Pixar Sweet Dreams” installation, reimagining Pixar characters as adorable marshmallows. Each mall offers a unique sensory experience, from “Sweet Marshmallow Paradise” at Harbour North, with marshmallow versions of Joy, Sadness, and others, to Landmark North’s “Lotso Fragrance Town” with a strawberry-scented Lotso and photo spots.

It’s time for all your favourite Christmas traditions to shine brighter with a sprinkle of magic during “A Disney Christmas” at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort from 15 November 2024 to 1 January 2025. “The Big Little Christmas” – Miniature Life by Tatsuya Tanaka x Harbour City | 15 November 2024 – 01 January 2025
This Christmas, Harbour City collaborates with renowned Japanese artist Tatsuya Tanaka on his first Christmas-themed art project, featuring the “Big Little Christmas” outdoor installation and the “Countdown to Mini-mas” Art Exhibition from 15 November 2024 to 1 January 2025.
Tanaka, famous for transforming everyday objects into miniature worlds, presents his largest art installation yet: a 28-meter-long Santa Claus desk at Ocean Terminal Forecourt, with key photo zones like a candy cane sleigh and a 10-meter Christmas tree made from a Santa hat. The “Countdown to Mini-mas” exhibition at Gallery by the Harbour showcases 25 new festive artworks, where ordinary items like cupcakes, cotton swabs, and binder clips are transformed into whimsical holiday scenes.

Panda Extravaganza | December 2024 – February 2025
Pandamonium is set to take Hong Kong by storm! Two adorable giant pandas are about to join Ocean Park’s beloved panda family alongside Ying Ying, Le Le and their newborn twins. Gifted by the Central Government, these new arrivals are ready to win hearts across the city. This December, they will make their first public appearance, followed by the twin cubs anticipated to take the spotlight in February 2025.
