The HKTB Celebrates Chinese New Year with the Public Online

With a few days left before stepping into the Year of Ox, the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s “Fortunes at Home” campaign started today (8 Feb) to send members of the public festive blessings. This year, the HKTB has incorporated “online elements” in its Chinese New Year (CNY) promotion campaign, merging traditions with creativity to boost the festive ambience. Together with a host of offline offers on the existing “Holiday at Home” platform that can be best enjoyed when local COVID-19 situation is stabilised, it is hoped that Hong Kong people can usher in the new year with joy despite the pandemic.

 

Online CNY Mart to Merge Traditions and Innovations

The highlight of the CNY campaign, “Mart in Hong Kong”, is now officially open! For three weeks from today until 26 February, a collection of hundreds of goodies, snacks and themed menus for CNY and Valentine’s Day from over 70 local brands are available at this online mart. Some of the products are available for sale for the first time ever and exclusively at the mart.”

  

1) Traditional CNY Goodies Reinvented

• Long-time local brands spark chemistry with creative labels in curating stylish CNY delicacies for the online mart. There are six collaboration products such as Kung Lee x Papabubble (Herbal Tea Candies), Yiu Fung x Papery (CNY Candy Box), Ser Wong Fun x Chef Jacques Kagi (Croissant DIY kit) and Ying Kee Tea House x Cookieism (Tea Cookies).
