Interim Extension of the Special Funding Support Programme for Small-sized Corporate Meeting & Convention Groups FY2025/26 (For Hotels)

Dear Valued Hotel Partner,

Thank you for your participation in the Special Funding Support Programme for Small-sized Corporate Meeting and Convention (MC) Groups (For Hotels). The programme will end on 31 March 2025, and as part of our commitment to supporting Hong Kong’s MICE industry, we are pleased to announce that the programme will continue in FY2025/26.

We are reviewing the programme details to ensure the funding support could be effectively utilized to increase the competitiveness of hotels in attracting corporate meeting and convention groups. We anticipate finalizing and announcing the updated programme details by the end of April 2025.

In the meantime, the current programme will be extended for an interim period from 1 to 30 April 2025 under the existing terms and conditions.

Highlights of the eligibility and application procedure of the current programme:
 
Application Period

1 – 30 April 2025
Eligibility
  • Applicant must be a licensed hotel
  • Hotel handles direct contract negotiation with event organisers without intermediaries
  • Meetings or Conventions that have not been confirmed to be organised in Hong Kong at the time of application
  • Group(s) with at least ten (10) physical non-Hong Kong participants
  • Group(s) must stay in the applying Hotel for a minimum of one (1) night
  • Applying Event has not obtained any funding support from the HKTB or the Hong Kong Government.

Funding Support
  • Utilized for providing special hospitality offers in areas including:
    • Hotel accommodation
    • Dining
    • Meeting packages
    • Special events
  • The cumulative funding per applicant will be capped at HK$500,000 per programme period starting from 1 April 2025. Any funding granted in earlier periods will not count toward this cap.
  • Funding will be allocated on a reimbursement and first-come, first-served basis, subject to funding availability
Funding Amount

From HK$3,750 to HK$80,000 depending on the length of stay and group size
Application Procedure

Complete the online application form via PartnerNet at least five (5) working days prior to the earliest arrival date of the eligible group(s).
