LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre, part of the Merlin Entertainments Group, invites you to experience the excitement of LEGO® F1® at the Build the Thrill event at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Hong Kong. Rev those engines and join in the LEGO® F1® fun from 6 March to 2 July 2025.

It’s race day! Join the creative racers in thrilling building challenges and unique photo spots at the LEGO® speed test track, where guests can race, have fun, and discover surprises along the way. Grab your pit pass and drivers' briefing, then choose your team. Get hands-on with LEGO® bricks to create a minifigure driver and build an ultimate race car, before putting them through their paces! Will you take pole position?

Activity Summary:

Pre-heat Your Engine

Task 1) LEGO® F1® in MINILAND®

Visit the LEGO® F1® in MINILAND® and discover various racing scenes! Capture the scenes that correspond to the questions on your driver’s briefing, and share your answers with the staff on-site to receive an exclusive gift[1].

Task 2) Choose Your Team

Prepare to enter the racing grounds! Spin the wheel to choose your team. See which F1® team you are destined to be on!

Rev Your Engine

Task 3) Create a Minifigure Driver

To stand out on the racetrack, get hands-on with LEGO® bricks to create a minifigure driver to complete challenges with you on the racetrack and share enjoyable moments.

Task 4) Build a Race Car

Build an awesome race car! The lucky racers will meet the Master Model Builder crew, who will share tips and tricks.

Get Ready to Race!

Task 5) Beat the Clock

Take on the build challenges to beat the clock. Grab a situation card to experience various scenarios that could happen in real life, react quickly, and enhance team skills.

Task 6) Test Your Speed

Compete with other imaginative and skilled young racers on the track to test your speed. Be a record-breaker!

Time to Celebrate

Task 7) Hall of Fame

Park your race car and minifigure driver in the Hall of Fame to share creativity and to inspire. Invite the staff to watch the parade to redeem a limited gift[2].

Task 8) Podium Celebration

After experiencing unforgettable moments, capturing photos with supporters and family is essential! Pose and take photos in the Podium Celebration before leaving.

Time-limited Task: LEGO® Creative Workshop

All brave and imaginative LEGO® racers are MVPs! Complete all the challenges and celebrate your racing action at the Creative Workshop in building a trophy to celebrate your achievements.
