American Airlines Adds New Route from LAX to Hong Kong
Starting in September, American Airlines will add a daily nonstop flight from LAX to Hong Kong. In addition to Hong Kong, American Airlines has recently added nonstop service to Sydney, Auckland and Tokyo Haneda, bringing their transpacific service out of LAX to an impressive seven routes starting later this year.  Learn more

A new attraction, Ani-Com Park @ Harbour "FUN" located near Wan Chai Promenade will be open to the general public at 5pm on April 29, 2016. 
 
Ani-Com Park is a "selfie" themed garden featuring a total of 30 local animation and comic statues where visitors can immerse themselves in comic scenes and interact with the characters. Stay tuned for more information!

Spring Festivals : May 11-14
Voted one of the world's 'Top Ten Quirky Local Festivals' by Time.com, the  Cheung Chau Bun Festival is a week long event including Taoist ceremonies and music, a parade, lion dances, drum beating and an exciting Bun Scrambling Competition.

Legend has it that nine dragons sprayed water onto baby Buddha at birth- baby's first bath! In celebration of Buddha's birthday, Buddhist temples across Hong Kong pay their respects by bathing statues of him, thought to also purify one's soul. 
 
The birthday of Tam Kung is a unique celebration as he is only worshipped in Hong Kong. R evered amongst fishermen and coastal communities,  Tam Kung was said to forecast the weather as well as heal the ill when he was a child. He is usually portrayed as an 80-year-old man with the face of a 12-year-old child.
 
Dragon Boat Carnival : June 10-12
Three days of intense races fill the harbor with action while thousands of spectators cheer from the shores. After the races, check out the San Miguel BeerFest for cold beers and live music.  Click  for more information.
 
Cyclothon : September 25
Both amateur and professional cyclists participate in 30 or 50km rides, enjoying the city's scenery while locals and visitors cheer from the sidelinesClick here  for more information.
