Promoting QTS in Overseas Markets Enhancing Service Standard Stimulating Visitor Spending Strengthening the Digital Marketing Platforms
HKTB strengthened its promotion of the QTS Scheme and its merchants in overseas markets, while working with China’s major news agency to elevate visitor confidence about shopping in Hong Kong. HKTB hosted the Outstanding QTS Merchant & Service Staff Awards 2015 to recognise the excellent services from QTS merchants and their staff, and supported seminars that sought to enhance QTS merchants’ competitiveness. A series of citywide campaigns were organised or supported by HKTB to help boost visitor spending and create more business opportunities for QTS merchants and other trade partners. HKTB’s “Hong Kong Value Offer” mobile app partnered with Sina Weibo and Alipay, integrating with e-coupons on DiscoverHongKong.com and the “My Hong Kong Guide” mobile app to help Hong Kong merchants connect with overseas markets.
