Details: | With the theme “Accessible Hong Kong and Beyond”, HKTB partnered with 12 trade partners, including five “Explore Hong Kong Tours” operators, five cruise operators, the Mass Transit Railway and Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Tourism Marketing Organization to promote Hong Kong as one of the most preferred destinations in the world.
This year, the Hong Kong Pavilion was located in a prime area and HKTB launched a brand-new, contemporary pavilion design on “Hong Kong ∙ Asia’s World City”. A giant TV wall showcased the city’s vibrancy and an array of diverse tourism products. It successfully captured participants’ attention and drove massive traffic.
The Honorable Mr Gregory So, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Miss Cathy Chu, Commissioner for Tourism of the Government of HKSAR, local trade heads and representatives from different National Tourism Organisations graced the occasion with their presence and shared their valuable views on the tourism industry.
This key event for travel industry of Hong Kong attracted over 600 exhibitors spanning from 50 countries and regions to join the show. |
