QTS merchants can now reach 180 million mobile users in the Mainland through the collaboration between HKTB and Dianping, the No. 1 review website in Mainland China. To stimulate visitor spending during Hong Kong WinterFest and Chinese New Year, QTS merchants provided attractive offers through the HKTB’s digital coupon platforms. In December 2015, the QTS Scheme was promoted in print advertisements for Hong Kong WinterFest placed by HKTB in 10 major Mainland media outlets. HKTB continued the Visa Quality Privileges Programme this year to extend marketing exposure and potential business opportunities to QTS-accredited merchants. QTS merchants are invited to join the upcoming Tourism Overview, where HKTB will share with our partners the challenges and opportunities the industry faces as well as the plan for the new financial year 2016/17.
