	HKTB UPDATE “Exploring the Opportunity: Muslim-friendly Tourism in Hong Kong” Seminar (11.7.2019) About 90 hotel and attraction representatives attended the seminar. Presentation materials and a self-assessment checklist are available for download. ► Travel Missions to Russia and Turkey (25 & 27.6.2019) HKTB successfully held the first-ever travel missions to Moscow and Istanbul. 29 local trade partners met with 92 Russian and 42 Turkish travel trade representatives to explore business opportunities. ► Shopping Fun – QTSA x UnionPay Offer (15.7. – 31.8.2019) To celebrate QTS’s 20th anniversary, a campaign with UnionPay International offered attractive discounts to cardholders at more than 2,000 designated merchant outlets and through mobile payment options. ► Peak Tram Service Resumed on 22.7.2019 The first phase of the upgrade work has been completed, and the Peak Tram and New World First Bus Route No. 15C service resumed on 22 July 2019. ► Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance (12-14.9.2019) The Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance is part of China’s intangible cultural heritage. Trade partners are invited to include this exciting happening in their tour itineraries. ► Upcoming: Hong Kong Specialist (HKS) Club Incentive Trip (15-19.10.2019) The HKS Club’s third Incentive Trip will provide an opportunity to explore the city’s diverse neighborhoods and outdoor areas, learn about new infrastructure, and network with industry players from 14 source markets.
