On 9 October 2013, 38 QTS-accredited merchants and 31 frontline staff received honours at the Outstanding QTS Merchant and Service Staff Awards at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
In collaboration with popular social media platform SINA Weibo, HKTB has launched the “Hong Kong Value Offer” mobile app to promote QTS-accredited merchants via mobile and Internet.
HKTB’s efforts to encourage visitor patronage for QTS-accredited merchants paid off again when it successfully lined up partnerships with American Express and Visa International at the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Month and Hong Kong WinterFest.
