Hello Hong Kong – Highlights of ITB in March 2024

This year, ITB, took place from 5-7 March in Berlin with 5,500 exhibitors from 170 countries being present. It underlined ITB’s position as the leading networking platform for the global travel industry. Despite ongoing strikes, the visitor numbers exceeded expectations with approx. 100,000 participants. In general, an optimistic outlook was given from industry partners as German’s desire to travel remains unbroken.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board and 27 co-exhibitors attended the fair to exchange ideas and explore coop opportunities with trade partners. The number of co-exhibitors marks a notable 49% increase vs. last year, a very positive message in terms of increased interest and demand.
