Terms and Conditions for Trade Partners
Declaration
By registering to be a Trade Partner (TP) and using the information and/or material from this website, you declare that you and your company fulfil the requirements of a TP as stated below. You also agree to comply with and be bound by the Terms of Use and other applicable terms and conditions stipulated on this website.
If the information you have provided becomes inaccurate or is discovered to be untrue, or if you violate the terms and conditions of your registration or use of this website, your company name will automatically be delisted and your use of this website terminated.
You agree that the Hong Kong Tourism Board can use the information that you provide for processing the listing or registration you applied for, and internal administration, marketing, promotions, research and statistical purposes.
You also grant the Hong Kong Tourism Board permission to share this information with agents, contractors or third party service providers as part of its business operations, and agree that information provided by you may be displayed on this website for sharing with other TPs.

General Requirements
- Your company is duly registered, incorporated or otherwise validly exists under the UK law and holds all necessary and valid licenses and permits for the operation of its business.
- Your company must be involved in providing products and/or services to inbound visitors to Hong Kong.
- There have not been any justified complaints made against your company within the period of 12 months before the date hereof to the Hong Kong Tourism Board or other relevant bodies or authorities and for which your Company had received a negative judgment.
- Your company undertakes to inform the Hong Kong Tourism Board upon its receipt of any notice of such complaint.
- Your company understands that if three of any such complaints are received within a period of 12 months at any time, its name will be automatically delisted unless it is shown by your company to the satisfaction of the Hong Kong Tourism Board that such complaints are unsubstantiated or otherwise unjustified.
- The premises in which your company carries on business are in the UK or the republic of Ireland.
- Your company's business operations are properly and adequately managed and run by experienced and trained personnel.
- Your company is of sound financial standing.
- Your company provides good quality services and maintains ethical standards of business at all times, and is co-operative in resolving complaints from customers.
- Your company undertakes to provide the Hong Kong Tourism Board with all information and documents in relation to this application as and when required by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, failing which this application may be rejected or your company's name may be delisted at any time.
- Your company undertakes to inform the Hong Kong Tourism Board of any change of circumstances which renders the above information untrue or inaccurate.
- Your company understands that its name will be automatically delisted if it is found that any of the information in this declaration is or at any time becomes untrue or inaccurate, or any condition imposed by the Hong Kong Tourism Board in respect of the listing or registration applied for is breached.
- Your company understands that the Hong Kong Tourism Board may in its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notice, accept or reject this application, and may impose or waive at any time any conditions it deems necessary in respect of the listing or registration applied for, and may delete or remove your company's name from the list or registration at any time.
If you also represent hotel(s) / licensed guesthouse(s)/ youth hostel(s) in Hong Kong:
- A valid license (tourist) for the hotel/guesthouse/youth hostel is held under the Hotel and Guesthouse Accommodation Ordinance
- The hotel/guesthouse/youth hostel is a current member of Hong Kong Hotels Association or Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners
If your company also operates as tour operator(s) / travel agent(s) / ground handling agent(s):
- Your company must hold the relevant licences and be a member of a recognised trade body such as ABTA, AITO, IATA, or TTA.
If your company provides venue(s):
- The venue should offer dedicated function space to support MICE activities such as corporate meetings, incentive trips, conferences, gala parties, group dinners, networking functions, workshops, and team building activities.
- The venue has an updated track record of organising and handling MICE events / activities.
If your company operates as professional conference organiser(s) (PCO):
- Your company has an updated track record of organising international or regional conventions.
If your company operates as destination management company(s) (DMC):
- Your company has an updated track record of organising / handling overseas corporate meetings or incentive travel.
If your company operates as exhibition organisers and service provider(s):
- The service provider is a registered member of the Association of Event Organisers (AEO), and has an updated track record of supporting MICE organisers in the staging of the events and service provision for public relations, performance arrangement and logistic services, etc. Your company has an updated track record of organising at least one trade exhibition.
If your company operates as MICE product & activity provider(s):
- The MICE product or activity should refer to a customised group programme designed and reserved for MICE groups.
- The MICE product or activity provider has an updated track record of organising / handling MICE products or activities.
If your company operates cruise line(s) / as cruise travel agent(s) / shipping agent(s) / terminal(s):
- If you operate a cruise line, its itineraries must include overseas destinations.
- If your company provides the following services, all must have an updated track record of providing these services within the past 12 months:
- Inbound and/or outbound services for cruise passengers
- Travel arrangements for cruise passengers
- Berthing facilities for visiting ships and/or cruise passengers
Other importnat terms:
1. These Terms and Conditions are between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms, whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
2. These terms are governed by English law. This means that any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed by English law. We both agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
