Attractions & Sightseeing

Your visitors can learn the story of old Hong Kong and how its historical

buildings have been preserved for future generations. They will experience

Hong Kong’s oldest public housing complex, create handicrafts in a

repurposed factory building, lunch at a specialty restaurant in Jao Tsung-I

Academy, and taste Chinese herbal tea at a repurposed tong lau.

This tour will start with a visit to a cha chan teng (Hong Kong-style café)

for a local-style breakfast, followed by a traditional pudding shop, specialty

soy store, Chiu Chow-style restaurant, long-established bakery and a

handmade noodle shop. It is a tour with a difference as visitors explore

the history, architecture and culture of the charming Sham Shui Po district

along the way.

Tuesdays and Fridays; morning

Approx. 4 hours

HK$720 adults; HK$520 children (5-14 years old); free of charge for

children under 5 who do not require separate tastings (maximum 8 people)

This unique tour incorporating public transport and bicycle allows visitors

to discover the unexplored sides of Hong Kong. They will experience

a calming tai chi class, marvel at the magnificence of 1881 Heritage,

breathe in the fresh air of the Ping Shan Heritage Trail, and taste a

traditional Big Bowl Feast in a 600-year-old walled country village.
