Dear Valued DMC Partner,
We are pleased to announce that the Funding Support Scheme for Small-sized Meeting, Incentive and Convention (MIC) Groups for Hong Kong Travel Agents (the "MIC Funding Scheme for DMC") will be extended to 31 March 2025.
The MIC Funding Scheme for DMC aims to assist Hong Kong licensed DMCs to build business and augment competitiveness in attracting MIC groups to Hong Kong. The support, which was resumed in March 2023 after the pandemic, is offered to Hong Kong travel agents receiving eligible MIC groups that have 10 or more non-Hong Kong delegates staying for at least one night in Hong Kong.
You are cordially invited to attend a briefing session that will introduce the scheme's streamlined application and approval processes, enhanced based on feedback from participating travel agents.
New applicants and those already familiar with the scheme are welcome to attend the session, either in-person or online.
