Hong Kong Museum of History –
The museum tells the
history of Hong Kong through an excellent permanent
exhibition, “The Hong Kong Story”, and changing
thematic exhibitions. These capture life in Hong Kong
with over 6,000 years of history on display, from its
earliest settlement to the Chinese dynasties and through
to colonial and modern times.

Over 70% of the
museum’s 500 exhibits are hands-on, meaning you
can literally play around with a broad spectrum of
cool topics, including robotics, virtual reality and
transportation.

Hong Kong Space Museum –
This striking domed
structure has become a landmark on the Tsim Sha Tsui
waterfront. Its Stanley Ho Space Theatre is capable of
projecting full-dome animation and movies with ultra-
high definition images.

Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum –
A branch of the
Museum of History, this tomb dates back to the Eastern
Han dynasty (AD 25-220).

Art Museum, The Chinese University of Hong Kong
–
This institution stands north of Sha Tin city centre,
enjoying a hilltop panorama of the scenic inland waters
of Tolo Harbour. The Art Museum brilliantly showcases
Chinese works of art with a collection that includes
paintings, calligraphy, bronze seals and jade carvings.
