Hong Kong Island

Causeway Bay, Wan Chai and Eastern District –

Causeway Bay boasts large department stores such

as SOGO, Times Square and Lee Gardens, open-air

markets and shops selling everything from electrical

appliances to fashion accessories. Wan Chai has some

excellent Chinese furniture shops along Queen’s Road

East. Further east, Cityplaza features department

stores, an ice-skating rink and an enormous range of

shops.

Causeway Bay

Central & Western and Admiralty –

Central and

Admiralty are renowned for luxury goods and shopping

centres such as LANDMARK and Pacific Place, and

Hollywood Road is a magnet for collectors of antiques

and knick-knacks. Western Market is an Edwardian

building filled with Chinese handicraft stores and fabric

shops. The area west of it is famous for small Chinese-

style shops selling dried seafood and medicinal herbs.

Central

Southern –

Ap Lei Chau near Aberdeen is known for its

discount furniture and clothing warehouses, including

the Horizon Plaza shopping centre.

Kowloon

Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei –

Numerous

large department stores and shopping malls such as

Lane Crawford, Seibu, SOGO, iSquare, K11, The

One and Harbour City are located in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Granville Road is full of factory outlets for young

fashion. ELEMENTS is an upscale shopping mall at

MTR Kowloon Station, while Fa Yuen Street in Mong

Kok specialises in selling sneakers and sportswear.
