IMEX America 2019 (10-12 September 2019)

HKTB exhibited at the ninth edition of IMEX America in Las Vegas alongside 12 leading tour, hotel and venue partners. Over 150 hosted buyer appointments were conducted.

To promote a host of rich cultural offerings that Hong Kong has to offer, six exclusive tea appreciation sessions were arranged at the booth. Participants had the chance to take a sip and enjoy a relaxing moment while learning about the history of brewing traditional Chinese tea.

Various new event sites in Hong Kong were also introduced, including Tai Kwun, The Mills and the Xiqu Centre in West Kowloon Cultural District, where visitors can bring home more unique and unforgettable experiences.

In addition, the latest “Hong Kong Rewards!” programme offers a wide range of complimentary cultural activities, such as kung fu classes, handicrafts classes in Chinese knotting, rainbow calligraphy or flour doll making, as well as spectacular cultural performances like face-changing or lion dance. It allows planners to provide a more comprehensive and fulfilling Hong Kong experience for visiting groups.
