Dining

Sai Kung, Lamma Island and Lei Yue Mun –

These

three charming areas serve some of the freshest

seafood in Hong Kong. Lei Yue Mun and the town of

Sai Kung have the added attraction of being home to

local fish markets where visitors can buy seafood live

and take it to a nearby restaurant to be cooked. Sai

Kung and Lamma Island are also havens of spectacular

scenery where visitors can enjoy alfresco dining with

incredible sea views.

SoHo and Sheung Wan –

The Hollywood Road between

Sheung Wan and Central has plenty of traditional tea

parlours and European-style cafés. SoHo (south of

Hollywood Road), Staunton, Shelley and Elgin streets

offer a wide range of upmarket eateries and bars. In the

historical Sheung Wan area, visitors can find funky new

neighbourhoods and distinctive restaurants in Gough

Street, Po Hing Fong and Tai Ping Shan Street.

Stanley –

The charming south-side town of Stanley

offers a unique mix of innovative eateries in a relaxed,

seaside setting. Some of the most romantic tables in

Hong Kong can be found here, along with a wide range

of other culinary options, including seafront alfresco

restaurants. Dining here is laid-back and fun.

Stanley

Tsim Sha Tsui –

Great dining options are waiting to

be sampled off the beaten path in Knutsford Terrace,

Knutsford Steps and Observatory Court, while Tsim

Sha Tsui East’s strip of bars, restaurants and cafés

offers broad harbour views to accompany alfresco

refreshments.
